2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2021 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of chocolate-covered
cherries alongside bright floral notes. The entry of this wine is juicy with
smooth texture that builds through the mid-palate. Dark fruit and toasted coconut meet the famous spices known as “Rutherford Dust”. Lush, lingering and sumptuous!. This wineis an excellent balance of lush, mouth-filling tannins and bright, fresh acidity on the finish. Drink now or cellar for up to 10 years.
WINEMAKING NOTES
We have been very fortunate to help make Cabernet Sauvignon for some of the best wineries in Napa over the years, and relished the chance to take what we have learned and apply it to our own wine. A portion of this wine was barrel fermented and the rest was fermented in stainless steel, the free run of which was aged for 18 months in half new french oak.

2021 was a very nice growing season on Rippey Ranch, and we were
able to obtain our desired ripeness levels in both sugar and tannin. This
fruit comes from block 16, which has the best concentration of flavors of
our Cabernet blocks and is therefore our source for the Rippey Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
